iQOO 10 Pro: the world's first smartphone with 200W charging is launched

The iQOO 10 and iQOO 10 Pro, the company's newest flagship smartphones, were launched in China today. This revelation concerns an earlier model that stands out because to its ability to handle ultra-fast charging, a feature that neither Xiaomi, not even Samsung or Apple, have.

The first mass-produced device in the world to offer 200W wired charging is the iQOO 10 Pro. The device's 4700 mAh rechargeable battery charges in about 10 minutes, the company claims (the corresponding power supply is available in the kit). Additionally, it supports 10W reverse wireless charging and 50W wireless charging.

So, being the flagship device for the second half of 2022, the iQOO 10 Pro's use of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 single-chip architecture makes sense. In AnTuTu, its performance is over 1,130,000 points. The SoC was cooled using an evaporation chamber that has a surface area of 2802 mm2.

Also, the 6.78-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED screen for the iQOO 10 Pro has a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is located underneath the screen.

Three modules constitute the primary camera. The primary component is a 50-megapixel Samsung S5KGN5 optical sensor with a 1.57-inch optical format and an axial stabilizer. The Samsung S5KJN1 has a 50-megapixel sensor as well. A 150° field-of-view super wide-angle lens is in use in the module with it. The third module, which has a portrait lens and a less common Samsung S5K3P9SX sensor with a resolution of 14.6 megapixels, is the last one. optical image stabilization is present. There is a 16-megapixel sensor in the front camera.

Stereo speakers and an IR transmitter are also available in the iQOO 10 Pro setup. The weight is 215 grams, and Android 12 is the operating system by default. The following are the costs: 8/256 GB costs $740; 12/256 GB costs $815; and 12/512 GB costs $890.
