Longines, founded in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, in 1832, has its eyes on the future: titanium. The new models—elegant, sleek—bear the aesthetics Longines is known for and uphold the brand’s commitment to exploring new materials and technologies. The result? Wearable timepieces that are stylish and sporty.
The new ‘Spirit’ is forged from Grade 5 titanium (titanium-aluminum-vanadium). Structurally, this alloy is lighter and stronger than steel; visually, titanium is slightly darker and more matt. In harmony with the case’s satin-polished finish, sandblasted anthracite dial, and satin black flange, the titanium gives these timepieces an updated, contemporary look.

Aesthetically, the Spirit finds balance between light and shadow, sky and earth, history and innovation. The hands, numerals, stars, and hourglass have subdued glints of mellow gold (1N) and contrast nicely with the timepiece’s darker hues. In the tradition of aeronautical watches, the face is easily legible—in the dark, its hands and numerals glow blue like hot stars—and the timepiece does not have a date window, accentuating its symmetrical beauty. The watch comes on a titanium bracelet and a custom-developed NATO-type nylon strap.
The five stars stamped on the dial represent the brand’s dedication to quality and reliability, and the watches come with a 5-year warranty.
The new Spirit builds on a tradition of elegance and reliability. Longines’ aviation-style watches have long been popular with collectors and enthusiasts. The updated line will appeal to fans of the brand and individuals looking for a ‘daily driver.’
